Rupert Park

OUTDOOR Public Location

Rupert Park offers 4 temporary pickleball courts as part of Vancouver’s ongoing pop-up court program. Added in 2025, the courts help meet growing demand in East Vancouver. Portable nets are used, and the rough, gravelly surface can create maintenance challenges. The location remains a popular option for outdoor play despite its temporary infrastructure.

4 outdoor courts (temporary pop-up)

4 courts with lines on the southeast side of the existing tennis courts for pickleball use exclusively.
4 nets are available in a storage box. See below for how to access it.

Park on nearby streets to avoid having to pay.

STORAGE BOX

A storage box has been installed right beside the Pickleball/Tennis courts. It contains Pickleball nets available to anyone to use.

There is a key for the storage box in a key lockbox attached to the side of the storage box. Instructions are printed on the storage box to tell you how to access it.
Essentially, you just need to send a special word followed by the starting score in Pickleball to the phone number provided. By doing so, you will be sent a response text with the combination for the key lockbox. (The combination will be changed periodically).
